@americana.pipedream: 🇩🇰 Danish m/84 rucksacks just hit the site. We have both Issued; Good and discounted Grade 2 versions. These are a pretty handy piece of kit, and come in an uncommon camouflage. M/84 took major inspiration from German Flecktarn, but was technically adopted first. Which one do you think is better?
Fun obscure fact: We actually couldn't really afford the 4th color in the Fläcktarn in the 80's (not kidding) - which is why it's missing. The development of the pattern was a joint venture with Western Germany.
Additional info dump: The m/84+Fläcktarn pattern was specifically designed for the terrain around Lüneburger Heide in Germany, which is where our army's designated last stand was planned to be, when WAPA came rolling.
Bonus question: Ever noticed how CADPAT is just a digital m/84?
Makes one wonder if the designer discovered pixels and remade and sold the pattern to Canada afterwards.. 🤔

how comfortable are these? Cause these types of bags have the best look, storage, ect but the comfort and adjustment doesn't always look the best

Thats not a rucksack, its actually a torture device meant for dislocateing all joints in your shoulders and back after wearing it for more than an hour (which happens a lot in the army)

They’re for sure durable, but you really need your m/96 basis to have under it, otherwise the support on your waist is bad asf. Also Heard soldiers got dropped of planes with 120kg on the back with these….
