When I went to nail school at a high volume UNSANITARY salon/school, I was told that if you want customers to keep coming back, you should trim the skin around the skin fold (proximal to the nail bed), it will always grow back jagged and customers will have to keep returning. 😬 I never allow them to trim anything outside of my the surface on my nail bed, unless it’s like a hang nail or something. I just moisturize with something containing urea.
