I no longer play a role nor chase. I eventually understood what a relationship really is and I never had one so I walked away and I’m at peace❤️

tried being a normal supportive family member but they got harsh & condemn coz u r 'begging' for their effort in response, they will never go down to ur level(weak) so i finally left then now they r begging to be in ur life

It bums me out so many of us have this experience but it def makes me feel less alone. Unless someone experiences it they have no idea how it feels to have a family like this. They can't wrap their minds around it.

I saw them, The mask fell to the ground the day my Grandma past away. Vultures- Those that did the least, excepted the most! The most disrespectful demanded RESPECT. The most LOW EFFORT wanted all the EFFORT, delivered at their feet! I just watched in silence, then disappeared & took my little family with me. My birth givers are Alcoholics, I barely survived my childhood. My grandma raised me because they refused, but once she past away NONE OF THAT HAPPENED & THEY DESERVED EVERYTHING because it was his mother. They now send messages about their falling health & posting on Facebook bout how I'm a POS for not talking care of them like I did my grandma. They actually told me to my FACE that I owed them... BLOCKED+NO CONTACT = PEACE

Spot on. I stopped calling my mom and she will call me maybe 2 times a year. Barely even txts me either. Last time I saw her she threatened to kill herself and I just scoffed. Like wtaf?! All I’m asking for is a balanced relationship.

My Mom. We had a fight, I matched her energy, then she told everyone that I wanted nothing to do with her. Again, I extend an olive branch, and she’s jabbing me any chance she can get. I’m done reaching out, and I haven’t heard from her. Heartbreaking
