You want a WIDE base to help ensure your nails don’t bump into each other during the curing process! 🫣 Skinny bases can lead to a fused mess of nails, and trust me, it SUCKS 😩 2. Get thinner bases if you can! A thick base adds height to your assembly, meaning your nails may get too close to your gel light and cure unevenly 😟 3. DO NOT get the metal nail stands! Working with cat eye gel becomes a nightmare because the metal stands become magnetized by your magnet tools and pull the cat eye every which way. 😞 DO get plastic, acrylic, or wooden nail stands! 4.
