For months I have been talking about and sharing stories about what is happening over there, and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I had to mute the accounts I follow. I’m 8 months pregnant, and I can’t watch it anymore. I cry all the time. The images haunt me while I play with my daughters. I know it’s an extremely privileged take, but I have to protect my own mental health for the sake of my children. The world is so cruel and it’s devastating how many people have allowed this to happen
