I was a stay at home mom. One thing I'd like to point out is that men are capable of being the at home parent too and it holds just as much value as a stay at home mom for the family.

it definitely doesn't help when society wants to chime in and be like "wow she's not working? You can't live these days without both of you working to make money. I work 3 jobs" blah blah blah. Maybe we can make it work because we don't worry about putting our kid in 5 star clothing all of the time because you think that if they don't have the best then they will get bullied. Dumbest thing I have ever heard. Cuz if THAT'S the issue, those parent and/or school are the ones that need a talking to

this goes for when the roles are switched as well, im currently a stay at home dad, taking care of the house while my wife works and is in college and I feel guilt for not working but there are also other factors in play with that. not everything's boiled down to income or at least it shouldn't be. luckily my wife helps me see how important that home maker role is to what the other does. I started watching you a few months ago and I really enjoy the videos.
