Im Korean, and its not that hard to say where your blood is from, because we all know we don’t belong where our parents immigrated, it feels like you are ashamed of where you come from. I’m born in the states but I don’t think I am from the US like I’m also american but my blood is from Korea. It’s not that hard! You’re not nonchalant

Was you born in Portugal? For example i was born in Estonia, living here and my passport is Estonian. But I was born in Russian speaking family, my native language is Russian, my lastname is Russian. So I consider myself by blood as Russian person 🤷♀️

I’m seeing comments about the amount of people not understanding the difference between nationality and ethnicity. While I do agree that it’s mindblowing, and that the two are different things, the fact is — for some people whose native languages are not English, nationality might actually mean both citizenship and/or ethnicity (in their languages).

This comment section did not pass the vibe check. Why would you assume that ppl mean the opposite of what they say? If someone ask you where you’re from, you would obviously think they’re talking about where you were born/grew up. If someone asks what your background is, you would obviously think they’re talking about your ethnicity/cultural background. Ppl are annoyed with you when they’re the ones who don’t understand what it is they’re asking. 😂🙃

I was born and raise in Belgium but my ethnicity is morocan yet I don't feel moroccan at all, don't speak arabic, not muslim and don't go there that much the only think that make me moroccan is my skin color I guess lol olive skin and dark hair are not that common in Belgium lol
