Don’t let anyone tell you boys are harder to train than girls! I trained both my boys before 2.5. Boys are just as smart and capable as girls, don’t let that myth influence you.

My aunt ended up putting a couple Cheerios in the toilet and told her son to aim for them and it worked wonders. He loved it 😂 not saying thats for everyone but if you want to add a fun twist to it you can always try it

I’ve worked in daycare for 15 years and potty trained 2739593 kids. I promise you’ll be fine! I’m a big fan of the 3 day method, personally. As long as you don’t let it overwhelm you it won’t overwhelm him and you’ll both breeze through it. Lots of positive reinforcement!

This may honestly sound crazy. But I’m a huge believer in they will do it when they are ready! My daughter was so easy once she was ready!! I tried to do it sooner that’s when it’s frustrating. But give him the tools he needs to do it and I’m sure it will be easy! That second kid though, I’m worried about it and he’s only 1 lol 😂

My son checked all the boxes too and we still just couldn’t get it down. He is 3. One day about a month ago it literally just clicked and it’s been so amazing and easy! However we are struggling with the 💩 part!!

I personally think most people’s expectations are too high with potty training, and that’s why it feels so daunting. There will be accidents, it’s gonna take more than 3 days.

I trained my 2 year old a few months ago & it took about a week. It was frustrating & exhausting but also way easier than I thought it would be. He’s still in pull-ups for naps and overnight. And social media will make you think that people do it in three days and that their kids never have accidents and that you have to quit asking them all the time if they need to go, and that’s not reality.

I started this past weekend potty training. After working at a daycare and potty training so many kids my biggest tip is stay consistent when you start don’t go back and regression happen. Stick with it! You got it!

I think you should wait to potty train closer to age 3. My opinion and from another trusted mom. It makes a huge difference on how easy it is.

I have a twin brother so like obviously my mom was potty training, a girl and a boy at the same time she said that it was harder to potty train me because she just turned it into a game for him. She would float Cheerios or Froot Loops in the toilet And tell him to sink them with his pee.

My oldest was HARD to train. He just gave no fucks. Finally got it done right before 4. If he’s showing signs, just go for it. My 2.5 year old seems ready so here’s hoping he’s less of a jerk than his brother haha

listen to the oh crap! potty training book as an audio book. I used it as a guideline but not a hard rule for potty training and it was so fast and relatively smooth! plus and audio book is something you can just listen to while you do other things and it's not a big time commitment ❤️

Potty training is hard, my daughter got it down pretty quickly but cleaning up the pee so often for the first few weeks was exhausting. You can do it but be mentally prepared!
