The path is Teams, call, swing by the desk, and THEN email. If it’s urgent then put some effort into it. Emails provide a gap. My favorite is when an executive deletes something without reading it and I get the notification so I can properly engage moving forward. INCOMING! Lol

Yes there is. I would rather an email than a phone call. Not only that, they are easier to save and file for future information and documentation when needed.

There used to be a guy at work that would do this immediately after sending it. We would go into full discussion about the contents of the email. Every single time. Like stop sending the email!

I support multiple recruiters, and one would walk to my cube to tell me he sent me an email and recap its contents, as if it should take priority over my other work. It would immediately go to the bottom of my to-do list.

Aaaaaahahaha I do that all the time but it’s because I wander around and then I’m like oh I’ll just tell them! And then I tell them what I just emailed 😂 usually with a bashful look on my face. My coworkers are used to my weird ass brain by now.
