My mom reminded me last night-she took too much pride in having everything perfect and clean, and she has so much guilt for not allowing us all to enjoy life more when we were growing up. No one will ever look back and say, "I should have cleaned more, fixed more." But they will say they wished they spent more time enjoying loved ones and life. Do the chores that absolutely necessary, but don't skip out on life because you baskets of laundry piling up or whatever is you feel is so pressing that really won't matter in the long run.
