I'll try to get a small strip directly under the fence about 2 inches wide cuz yea that type of fence will snap a shift if you misjudge something lol...

The only bad thing is overtime it can lead to erosion if the fence is going down hill. I learned that hard way but still keep a slight spray on it I hate Scrags sticking up
