I feel like thats the hardest part having to act "normal" I always try have 5 mins with a cup of tea before I have to do anything else. The worst time it happened at supper time and then after you just have to carry on with super like nothing happened with a smile ❤️

Yes! I was attacked and hit when working in a SNF. We had to call the cops because it got so bad. The cops said “well you can’t press charges, why am I here”

HEAVY on the abuse in the workplace being normalized. I am regularly hit by patients, but it’s never usually hard so nothing really comes of it.

this. working in nursing home as a cna and have seen all of these. heavy on walking into rooms as if i wasn’t just crying. or that i have to just “put up with” my dementia patients harassing me and sexually/physically assaulting me. i have done this for a month and i have been bitten, hit, scratched, and kicked

I always respect nurses so much and i actually prefer seeing nurses over drs because nurses are so smart and knowledgeable. Idk why I trust them more 😭
