Oh sure, they explain that right after they tell us it's all in our head.

Kerrigan Bridges :
I had a CT show sacroiilitis and erosion so my rheum ordered lab work and all of my inflammatory markers are normal and I’m HLA-B27 negative. I have a pelvic MRI next month to get another look. My rheum is suspecting AS especially with my mom having psoriatic arthritis (she also has RA). I have reoccurring lower back pain that wakes me up at night and wake up with in the morning that goes away after an hour or so after being up and moving around. I also have random hives, regular aches in my fingers wrists elbows knees etc, brain fog, fatigue, reoccurring sores on my scalp, minor off and on swelling in my fingers, and worst of all chronic reoccurring neck pain for the last 7 years in the right side of my neck next to my spine and up to the base of my skull that shows visible swelling and causes awful headaches and migraines that Tylenol and ibuprofen just won’t touch. My rheum doesn’t suspect AS causing my neck pain since only my lower back showed signs in the CT and I just had a neck X-ray that showed nothing. Could my neck still be related to AS? And could my other symptoms still be AS even with normal labs and hla-b27 negative

I was diagnosed with AS 15 years ago. I take immunosuppressants. I had started running at that time and asked the doctor if I should quit and he said no. It's probably the best thing for you. It turns out he was right. My initial feeling was that I should really take care of myself and not do anything, but I took my doctor's advice. Since then I have run 24 half marathons and a full Marathon. I regularly run 12 to 15 Mi a week. I've cut back to 10ks and 5ks now, but there's no substitution for physical activity. now I'm nearly a unicorn when I am around other people my age. I'm 76. I have reduced my intake of inflammatory food. I'm
careful about what I eat.

I have it with fibro. I haven’t been on biologics in 10 years. I’ve been doing acupuncture and Chinese herbs since and it helps but I’m tired of being tired and the pain.
