While you may not get a period, you absolutely still ovulate. Your body uses your blood for milk so you may not get your cycle back for a while. I’m 9mpp and still havent gotten it. But I take my pill religiously because NOPE

I got pregnant twice out of four times while breast-feeding. I was never trying to use it as birth control and it was on purpose. I got off my birth control to have those babies, but I did not stop nursing.
