My most viral video is on DG! It’s pinned! Go watch it! & I always ask if my coupons come off BEFORE I swipe my card. One lady in particular says she “can’t tell until I pay”. Well they don’t work half of the time & SHE KNOWS IT! Every other employee can tell me BEFORE I check out. I wouldn’t get some of the stuff I get if there wasn’t a coupon. I also find things like certain laundry detergents on the app that are on close out & she refuses to change the price.

there's literally 5 of them within 10 miles of my house. They closed down one of the best stores our little town had ever had that I KNOW HAD TO BE MAKING MONEY.... just to put a damn DG in there. I hate them.

I’m in rural Indiana. DG is right down the street. They treat their employees like trash. They never have working bathrooms, they are understaffed, prices are always inconsistent, and their app never works.

I live in a more wealthy town that has a DG. Ive never thought of it as odd but i guess it is. I actually love ours, but Im definitely going to be vigilant checking prices

1000% accurate here in Texas in rural areas. One day it is just a dollar store them the next, you can do your whole grocery shopping there. They stay open outside of the hours of the real grocery stores. And can we talk about how they all smell the same? What’s up with that???

i drove 1400 mile in a few days in michigan. i started taking pics of dollar generals. the are everywhere in the rural area.
