@proffeequeenkt: This journey has taught me one powerful truth: No one is coming to save me. No shortcuts, no magic fixes — just me, my discipline, and the choices I make every single day. If I want change, I have to create it. I’m not waiting on motivation. I’m building habits. I’m not blaming anyone. I’m taking responsibility. This is my life, my body, my mission. And I’m worth saving 💪🔥
lowkey just wanted a new meal plan… didn’t expect to cry, self-reflect, and rebuild my entire approach to life after reading The Buried Formula for Weight Loss by Josh Moore 😭🧠💪

It’s normal the drs said people who get the surgery will regain 10 to 15 percent of what they lost At least that’s what they told me

My sweets cravings never went away and I don’t get dumping syndrome. If I eat sweets today, I will go off the rails and eat seeets every single day. It is so hard, especially as we are able to eat more before feeling full

I stalled after 4months, had a emergency gallbladder surgery. after that I stalled and no budging I was 184lbs. I was fine, 2 1/2yrs po I started to get sick. turns out I have spondylitis(autoimmune), spinal canal stenosis, and fai and labral tear. im at 207lbs , which my dr says its inflammation, predisone, meds. however im mindful but im stresses tf out with my illness. I cant workout due to pain, im getging surgery for spine in a few days and a few ninth surgery on hip. im hoping once im cleared i can get to working out. for now im cutting portions and prioritizing protein. my Dr prescribed me glp1 which I'll start taking after spine surgery, and my rheum actually suggested it because glp1 are also helping autoimmune conditions. I am so scared to be that person I was before. I find myself a f nit happy with my looks, my gw ia 150lbs.

I think you're talking about me. I picked up sodas and Alanis last year and OMG seeing the scale makes me want to throw up. I know better. I have to do better.

This is transparency and reality of bariatric surgery. It’s NOT a fix - it’s a tool. Thank you for being vulnerable enough to share your story to help others.

I am 10 months out and I love to play Russian roulette with food. Maybe it will hurt my stomach maybe it won’t but I keep trying and I don’t understand that. I need to correct my brain.

I too was at my lowest this time last year but I felt great so great I started to test my boundaries, stopped logging, stopped prepping but I increased my gym so I figured I was good. Nope almost 20 lbs later

You just described me. I am 1 year and 1 month post surgery gastric bypass. I am not gaining, but scared I’m going to. I am at a standstill and have been there for a while. I have only had one thing that has made me sick and that is rice. This food noise is completely ridiculous.😞

This message is so true. You speak from experience and from the heart and I adore that about you. The struggle is real after surgery and the battle will never be won, I just have to be persistent. I needed to hear this message today. Thank you for being real and being unapologetically you. ❤️❤️❤️
