Megalopolis was one of my favorite movies of last year. Every line, every scene, everything about it was just laughable. it was the funniest shit. Felt like a prank.

That movie didn’t perform well because people didn’t understand that Cesar’s “time stop” ability is just a metaphor for his idealistic vision of the future of the city. If you have enough media literacy the movie is actually good and I’m hyped for the new cut of it

Megalopolis is one of the greatest films ever made, if you truly believe that something has to be “coherent” to be great then you’re not engaging with cinema as an art form but purely a plot delivery vehicle and that is depressing

The only movie ive ever cried after because it was such a waste of everything: my time, Adam Dtiver's talent, beautiful production, interesting concepts. it was so over baked and under baked simultaneously. I'm glutton enough for punishment to wonder if the weirder version might improve upon on the original.

My favorite part of the entire movie is when they clearly intended to do that special effect on Adam driver’s face for the rest of the movie and then didn’t because it was too expensive
