Girl... Amazon has portable ac units! I have to keep my living room warm because of my snakes, but I have a portable one in my bedroom! Its amazing! Wont cool your whole house, but will get one room nice and cold! They have them from 50- couple hundred. Search them!

Our furnace went out last week so hence no A/C. It got to be 90 in our house. Luckily furnace was replaced last Friday & now I’m back in a cool house

I spent 7 yrs without A/C when mine went out. Needed to be replaced. i survived with lots of fans and showers multiple times a day. Finally was able to afford to replace it 2 yrs ago when my SSA disability was approves. It was such a relief.
