Dental office manager. Why was this claim never followed up on when it went unpaid? What did your office do with the charges? Write them off? Or you’ve just had an open claim in your claim batch for 5 years?

What other industry is allowed to do this?!? Insurance should have 30 days max to pay. Australia has debit card like insurance cards, they get paid same day and don’t have to play games to get paid for services.
