Your take is good. I think the main discourse around what CP said was putting Angel in the same tier as Cam Brink. Love Cam but she only played 15 games no way they’re in the same tier. Also, she can never just give Angel a compliment. It’s always “but she needs to do more” even in Unrivaled.

I think it’s hard to fairly critique a player when said player is breaking your records. I don’t believe she can keep her bias in check. I believes she overly critical of Angel but does not talk about the improvement by the pg1 on the other team

I believe everyone have their own opinion. She stated she harder on the post. Which I understand but the reason for she stated in the first video then the second. Just doesn’t add up. When you say it players been in there a while. Then compare her to Austin, nalyssa smith, Edward’s etc. not brink that haven’t been fully healthy

She meant it exactly how she said it and she meant it to denigrate Angel because she preference everything with if we don’t like it we should go kick rocks. Sports commentators must realize that people now will fact check everything you say and will come against what you say. Opinions are okay but when facts don’t agree I’m going to side eye thst opinion from the expert. I’m still learning so I usually believe what’s said until I find out the have ulterior motives and it’s straight wrong. I want to hear from the HOF. They gotta check their feelings at the door though

thank you for this. I'm honestly not asking Candace to charge her mind...I just want her take to make sense. She described Angel as an offensive rebounder... but Angel has always had more defensive than offensive rebounds... like right now she still has more defensive rebounds than the rest of the league has total rebounds. I'm okay with us disagreeing if I understand where you're coming from... but I just don't see how Candace came to the conclusion she did & her explanation didn't help... because Angel hasn't been in the league long? neither has Cait & Paige is a rookie... but they both got ranked higher... so clearly it's not time in the league. I just don't understand.
