Don’t ever change yourself for love. If you feel like your not being heard but your scared to lose the person you love most in the world, here’s your sign to let it go. The pain is temporary. It will always hurt but not because you lost them but because you lost yourself in the process of trying to make them love you. Someone will see your pain and won’t think twice about taking it away. Write down what you want in your person and write down what you bring to the table and look back at it whenever your feeling like your not enough. If someone doesn’t check all your boxes, leave. If they don’t bring the same things to the table, leave. Whenever your questioning if you should let it go, take that as the sign to move on. Otherwise you hold onto a memory and a vision of what it should be like and you eventually will blame yourself for all their wrongs. No one’s perfect but finding someone who wants to help you build yourself instead of holding onto the grudge and never talking about it till it’s too late to fix will lead to misery. Grudges make misery. Stuffing your feelings and not communicating them makes misery. And eventually it will lead to deceit and lies which will hurt both sides.
