I played all 3 games(dk bananza, mario oddesey, and mario galaxy) and I think dk bananza is the best imo.

I think this game was amazing. and the gimmicks were great and fresh like the whole point of the game, destroying environments. It just feels a little mindless sometimes however, I thought they would do worse and make it even more repetitive. Very glad they mixed it up and it definitely exceeded my expectations.

I feel like Odyssey is only slightly better because of its replayability. The collectathon style fits DK much better than Mario but Bananza got real repetitive. I will always go back to Odyssey, it feels much more digestible than Bananza.

As someone who loves the Mario series, I absolutely did not like galaxy at all. And 70% of the worlds in odyssey sucked. This game fixed all the issues that Odyssey had with zero un interesting worlds to explore.

Tbh I get the whole critique of bosses being too easy but like as the same time I think people are approaching it wrong. There were quite a few bosses per layer and it seemed more of like a gameplay mix up then a this is a challenge
