I used to be a bartender, and the amount of times I would get asked to "make it strong" is.... just too much. we free poured at my bar, and I made it my personal mission to give those people just the teeniest tiniest bit less that I was supposed to

This is my biggest pet peeve. It’s so annoying and also insulting. So I, the bartender, am supposed to risk my job for you? Because if I’m making you a double and charging a single, that’s technically stealing. And if you too cheap to pay for a double, I KNOW you are too cheap to make it worth the risk.

one Mexican restaurant taught me ordering an extra shot is called "make it dirty" but most places are confused when I say that. and Some places like olive garden literally dont know to make or ring up an extra shot in the drink. ultimately I agreed to pay for 2 mixed drinks but told them to put both shots in 1 cup and throw out the rest

I have to agree with the eggplant! My mom forced me to eat it when I was a kid even though I told her it was making me sick. I crawled into bed with them and puked all over their bed. She never forced me to eat it again
