Because of the complaining, two years ago the school district I worked for bought the tissues from the toilet paper/paper towel company and using the tissues was basically like wiping your nose with an irritant. Parents buy better tissues than school districts. And with everything getting defunded they better start getting used to paying for more stuff than just some tissues.

I was that child. I don’t have kids, a group of us get a copy of a couple schools parent lists, then drop off 2x the supplies it’s about 6 of us. I feel like you all shouldn’t have to ask, but until you all get the funding you need we all have to chip in.

When I started kindergarten…. This would have been 1985, I remember having to bring a box of tissues, an 8-pack of crayons…. And one or two other things. I don’t remember any complaining about it. Why have people gotten so selfish?

I only have 1 kid and he honestly needs about 120 boxes of tissues a year on his own. Those things are snotty af 😭

I want tissues for every child in class so there's less chance of them sneezing directly on my child and getting her sick. It benefits me in the long run. lol

My favorite thing is when kids use tissues and hand sanitizer to clean their $120 shoes. But go ahead keep complaining about buying $1.10 box of tissue from the dollar store.

also, kids are lazy and instead of walking to the bathroom for paper towels to clean up a mess, they'll use tissues!
