as someone who lives in south florida- DO NOT MOVE HERE- i hate miami with a passion, miami beaches also are crowded 24/7, 365. the people are nowhere near as cool as they are in new york, the traffic is about as bad as new york if not worse, and the summers are absolutely BRUTAL.

If you go during January you’re not experiencing south Florida 9+ months out of the year. It’s HOT, we don’t really really get seasons. January-February is as good as it gets sometimes lol

As someone who lives in Houston so nowhere near Florida but same climate… the beach life gets old. The weather gets old. Hurricanes? They get old. I’m itching to get more than one season in my life. You have the ability to travel there for extended periods of time. Do that. Not worth moving there 😓
