As a mother who deeply loves her children, I completely understand why someone might choose not to have kids. For so long, we were conditioned to believe that motherhood was our only purpose. I think both paths are beautiful, because the most important thing is that it’s your choice.

I recently saw someone post a rant about how dog moms aren't real moms even. Like WHO CARES - keep that opinion & let me believe my dog is my child in peace it's not hurting anyone. 🤣😭

I love this perspective - I have two children and LOVE being a mum, I don’t miss child free life at all. But being a parent is a huge responsibility and I really respect people that make the choice (to/not to) so consciously 💚 the flexing from either side is sooo weird!

we are totally programmed as children. we give baby girls…. Baby dolls. I got into an argument with my dad over giving my daughter so many baby dolls. She can have them. But she also has an astronaut. and Barbie’s. And action figures. There’s a reason baby girls get…. Play kitchens.
