Why do people lump all similar people into a group and hate on the whole group? Not every Boomer is rich. Some of us really struggled just like today. A lot of us worked really hard.

I'm the end (1961) of Boomers... I started working on a golf Course at age 12, for $1.18 an hour...I detasseled corn, hoed beans, and baled hay at 16 through High School while playing sports and getting all A's and B's. My father was unemployed after my Freshman year of college. I had to work to support the family. I worked 100 hr weeks for years...Do not every say we were about ourselves. Most of us did things you could never fathom.

I disagree with this. My parents worked hard and saved. They grew up with nothing. Most boomers did. There were wars and the depression. Blame politicians and schools. Schools don’t teach the basics. I’m Gen X. My house is paid off I have savings all my cars are paid for and we own a business. My parents taught me good work ethics.

Yeah, and they were the WORST parents! Neglected an entire generation of GenX’ers. That’s why GenX doesn’t necessarily care of participate. We saw the odds stacked against us at 5 years old.

Bottom line- boomers were the most catered to self absorbed generation in history and had literally all the fun- they took and took and are so selfish they still can’t see what they’ve done. They broke America 🙄

my parents are boomers. my dad worked 3 jobs and my mom worked as well. they grinded for 40 plus years and also owned a business for 26 years. not all boomers are the same.
