The accent of the yellow car where is it from? Sounds like an accent from the early 1900s?

Alright guys, today we’re testing the new Harman Phoenix II in 120 with this Fuji GF670, let’s take a closer look. The GF670 is one of my favorite medium format machines, combining a clever folding design made popular over 100 years ago with modern optics and built-in light metering. Opening the camera back, we can see how the lens and bellows extend into position, and that the electronically-controlled shutter is self-cocking. The Fuji GF670’s party trick is the unique ability to switch between the 6x6 and 6x7 format — today we’re shooting 6x7. Ok, on to Harman Phoenix II. This film is one of the most exciting releases in recent memory, promising improved color, finer grain, and better exposure latitude compared with the original Phoenix film, which was fun for experimental use but had a strong yellow-green color cast and a highly visible, almost gritty grain structure that could make it difficult to use for everyday shots. Phoenix II has been redesigned with improved film layers and dyes, with Harman claiming “more normal” contrast and color balance while retaining halation in the highlights. The lack of an orange mask in the film base means that color will still render substantially differently than typical color negative films. With our roll loaded in the GF670, let’s get out and shoot to take a look at this new film for ourselves. Color is unusual and vibrant, with a rich indigo blue in sky tones that actually reminds us of slide film — we were surprised to get an almost black sky in this shot. Grain is indeed much finer, especially in 120 — overall, this is a very promising new color film that we can see becoming a new regular in our rotation. Have you shot with Phoenix II? #harmanphoenix #harmonphoenix200 #harmanphoenix120 #harmanphoto #film #analog #filmcamera #shootfilm #filmcommunity #mediumformatfilm #mediumformat #fuji #fujifilm #fujigf670 #gf670 #review #filmreview #demo #howto #asmr #c41 #urbanlandscapes #pdx
