@kailagrace23: Going through a divorce was seriously one of the most difficult seasons of my life. But I’ll never be sorry for it. It shaped me into the woman I am today, brought me back to Jesus, and allowed my husband and I to grow into the people we needed to become to be able to love each other the way we should have from the start. God was never in our home when I met Michael at 18, but he certainly is now. We still don’t always get it right. I fail more often than I’d like to admit. But it’s all part of the journey. I am so thankful for our redemption story even if people don’t always get it or understand how I forgave, and how we could move on together. But our family was and still is worth fighting for. ❤️
My grandparents divorced in their 30s and remarried a couple of years later. They just celebrated over 65 years together. She has advanced dementia and he dotes on her saying it’s his turn to take care of her. May not seem like a fairytale to some but they have each other.
