Well, if you see the dog following you, why don’t you stop so they can get their dog and then you can continue to walk you keep walking knowing the dog is following you stop let them grab their dog and then walk

This is why I "walk" in my alley. I used to walk several miles a day but after too many close calls I quit. Animal control and owners are a joke. The last time it happened a man stepped in and protected me and he was attacked. I felt so bad because I ran so I posted in the town group describing the vehicle the man drove so I could thank him for saving me from a dog attack and the owner commented calling me a liar and I even got a r @ pe threat from one of their friends because of their lies. They got a ticket for vicious dog at large. But yeah - I'm a liar.

It looks like the dog wants to play .. the dog did not want to attack your dog , your dog was trying to attack that dog .. dogs usually know the mood of their owner.

Listen if my dog is on leash & their dog is off leash & comes up to mine & is aggressive, what happens next is their fault & above me now. I’m just sayin if you want your dog to come home not in a box, keep it on a leash, or make sure your recall works on the first try.
