I got sober almost 3 months ago. I never thought it could me. I wasn’t an alcoholic, though I drank beer just about everyday, but I didn’t get drunk often. Every blue moon id get a little drunk. I’d go days without beer at all. But I never thought I could do social events without drinking. And to be able to do that & not even crave it, it’s life changing for me.

I haven’t cried yet. Since the beginning of the year I’ve been saying it better not be Ozzy. I knew I would cry when it happened, and I know it’s still coming. I’ve come close. Celebrity deaths don’t matter to me, but Ozzy is more than a celebrity. He has become immortal in his death. The teenage years at Ozzfests were some of the greatest moments of my life. Rest easy, Ozzy.
