I got an elf primer when it went viral a few years ago. Big packaging, hardly any product in it. I used it 6-7 times before it ran out. Pulled the packaging apart and it was a tiny tube in a bigger bottle

My purchasing habits changed drastically when I started paying attention to product weight! *Especially* skincare/beauty - so many 30ml creams in bottles that appear to be 100ml and they don't seem lighter in your hand bc there's so much plastic. I'm also noticing more foundations are 25ml when the standard has always been 30ml (don't get me started on concealers!). Pay attention especially to the "micro" style brow pencils - generous brands will give you 0.5g but countless ones provide literally 0.07g of product.
