What do they expect Europeans came in tore down the natural vegetation which was an uninhabited part of Grand Bahamas where the Bees lived. The bees are looking for their home. Clearly the builders knew they were there during construction and no one did anything about it. Bees do not typically lives where there is no pollination. for them which tells you there was once pollination there. That's like building a house in the woods where there are bears living but you dont expect to see bears
