Alcohol wasn’t just numbing me—it was stealing my clarity, my creativity, and my connection. It was survival, not thriving. And I knew, deep down, I was meant for more than surviving. I come from a lineage where addiction was normal, expected even. I lost my grandfather at five because of it. But I’m breaking that cycle. Sobriety gave me room to feel. To grieve. To face myself fully. And yeah, it’s been uncomfortable. But it’s also been the most powerful, transformative thing I’ve done. Drinking didn’t make for fertile soil. But now? Now I’m planting roots. Now I’m building the foundation I need to truly thrive—as a mother, as a partner, as the Kreative Unikorn. I am my brand. And my brand is better for it.
