I feel so sad for Robyn’s 3 oldest kids. Their parents divorced & their mom accused their dad of abuse. That’s really tough in itself. Then they join a huge family with lots of different personalities & issues. But miraculously they bond with new family, only for new family to fall apart. Then they lose their sibling. Granted they were enstranged from Garrison at the time of his passing, but they grew up with him as their brother. That is too much for young people to have to process & deal with.

I feel like her panic attacks were more for show and she over played them. Like in the 1 episode where kody had to carry her to her room.. and she was like 16

Robyn doesn’t understand that our job as a parent is to raise them to be independent, capable & strong (and much more). Our job is to raise them out of the house, not to keep them in the house feeling dependent and unsure of themselves.

she's old enough to drink alcohol yet needed permission to go to church. they are enmeshed to the point that R's kids will never be a functional adults

I notice kids & young adults with the most strict parents, strict rules & strict religion are always the ones that go wild when they finally get a taste of freedom. Just wait until one of the girls falls for a boy that does not have rules.
