I broke my back and didn’t know for 3 weeks. Less pain than my period. Both times I gave birth were less painful than some periods I get. I just got caught on fire in June and they gave me painkillers. I saved 90% of them for when I had my period over the next few months, cuz that’s when I’d really need them. I have endo and autoimmune issues so periods aren’t just uterine pain. It’s a full body flare up; joints, fatigue, headache, bone pain.

My dad said his rootcanal was the worst pain he ever had. I was soooo scared before mine and the whole week after i was like “surely it gets worse right” but it actually was not as bad as period cramps

I JUST WENT THROUGH THIS I got back from surgery realizing I don’t even need the painkillers because it felt like a really mind period. I saved the oxy for the next five periods💀

I hsve PMDD and it’s really awful 😭💖 I’m so sorry Danny i hope you’re able to find some relief idk if you’ve tried it yet but Pepcid ac has helped me s lot with my PMDD symptoms (usually not every month sometimes it’s unbearable no matter what)

I believe you man - when my appendix decided it was time to go they asked me at the ER to rate the pain, and I said 7/10 because my periods can be much worse, they looked at me in horror and post surgery I got diagnosed with endometriosis 💀

it’s actually so freaky bc i just had my third laparoscopy for my ovary last week and i stopped hurting within 24 hours. like they cut holes thru my flesh and took a mass off my organ. and that hurt less and for less time than my period ever has.

the head nurse that checked on me while recovering in the hospital commented I was handling the pain/discomfort better than most patients she'd looked after lol didn't know how to explain post surgical is the least painful thing I've endured

As someone who has had top surgery and a period, your periods are probably not normal if they hurt as bad as surgery. Please get checked out for endometriosis.

i had two different surgeries recently that where very painful but my periods from when i was 12-17 before birth control? much more painful. people tryna debunk this while not having bad period pains are so annoying! everyone is different, my friend used to feel nothing during hers while i had to take the week off school
