A heavy drench in the morning will do them well, coming from a horticulturalist/nurseryman in Va. its summer and not insulated by the ground since it’s in a pot so it will require near daily watering to maintain a nice flush in the heat. The flowers you have were bound to fade soon and paniculata hydrangeas bloom on new wood, so I’d give each plant a even 4-7” trim all the way around to enduce a new set of blooms and even flush before summer ends. In blooming season your plants are using a lot of energy to flower so make sure to fertilize with something with a similar NPK ratio to ‘FoxFarm Tiger Bloom’. That’s how I maintain my crops here at the nursery.
