@dr3fastpitch: One of my biggest pet peeves is hearing girls say they went to a clinic and “didn’t really learn anything.” That it was just reps. No conversation. No connection. No direction. Just going through the motions. That’s not what softball should be — and it’s definitely not what DR3 clinics are about. When I show up to lead a clinic, I don’t just bring drills and pitching plans. I bring purpose. Because every athlete deserves to feel seen. To feel validated. To walk away with new skills, but also new belief in herself. Yes, I’m all in for high-rep, high-energy sessions — but the reps mean nothing if you’re not also feeding the mental and emotional side of these players. I believe every clinic experience should leave athletes better physically and mentally. That means real teaching. Real coaching. Real conversations. At DR3 clinics, we talk about more than mechanics. We talk mindset. Leadership. Routines. Resets. Confidence. Culture. We build athletes who know how to carry themselves, how to compete, how to lead from the circle and beyond. Because this game isn’t just physical. And developing great pitchers isn’t just about velocity and spin. It’s about presence. Poise. And pride in doing things the right way. I don’t get to do as many clinics as I’d like right now — but I’d love to do more. I love traveling. I love meeting new athletes. I love pouring into this next generation of ballers.
