Better side characters is crazy work. I’d say the only side character comparable to the wide ensemble that black clover has is Endeavour. Because the black bulls alone are one of the best and most developed hero groups in anime. Characters like Noelle, Finral, Vanessa and Yami I’m fine with people thinking MHA is better and all that but you can’t ignore at one point in MHA Horikoshi forgot 99% of the characters in his story existed and started to only focus on 5-6.
