Finding the next Banana Ball Star. At our first tryout of the year, I wanted to set the tone for the players to encourage them to go for it and not be afraid to fail.   As I shared, our entire organization started with Emily and I taking a chance on Savannah, and then taking a chance on going all-in on Banana Ball.   Dakota Stilts Albritton took a chance at his first tryout and went up to the batters box and hit on Stilts for the first time. DR Meadows took a chance by going for a backflip catch after missing one and getting hit in the face in the Tour Championship in 2023.   For the players at this tryout, they took a chance by coming to the tryout and now I asked for them to take big chances on the field and do things that they’ve never done before.   Since Day 1, we’ve never been afraid of failure and that is why we’ve been successful.   For the players, I wanted them to know that this was bigger than themselves and that for some of them their life would change because of this tryout...if and only if, they had the courage to go for it.   I’m proud to say, they did as this was one of the most amazing and entertaining tryouts we’ve had in the history of our organization.   To watch the full episode on our first Banana Ball tryout of the year, check out my Youtube and I’d love for you to subscribe for more behind the scenes of my journey as we grow Banana Ball including speeches, full interviews, Q&A’s and talks on culture and customer experience.
