The Philippines already has like 4 typhoons, and SOME Filipinos are happy because there are no classes. I get that it's happy sometimes because of the suspension of classes/schools, but what about the people who got flooded because of typhoons? What about the stray animals and homeless people? What about them? They're literally struggling.

not so fun fact! —Two of my classmates said they wish there's rain so class will be suspended. First classmate, let's call him "Aki". —Aki once said in break time that he hopes that there will be a typhoon, few weeks to the present, there is now a storm/rainfall/typhoon. —Another one, let's call him "Shan". He recited on one of our subjects that he wish it'll rain heavily so it will suspend.

Lowkey worried abt my cousins/aunts/other relatives in the Philippines rn like my mom made a joke like “yeah I’ll send this package unless the flooding doesn’t stop lmao” and then I see this comment section..luckily the house they all share is generally pretty high off the ground

tbh, I just wish that there were no classes—and I don’t really like having typhoons ’cause I know how many people suffer during typhoons. Just imagine how many people go missing and die due to the flood.. yet, students still wish there will be a typhoon, how about the people suffering? I might be glad that classes are suspended but at the same time feeling sad for the people that are getting affected by the typhoon (idk)
