@mustsharenews: The man claimed that if he had placed his hands wrong, the doctor would have corrected him. He added that he wouldn't have helped if he'd known there would be backlash.#mustsharenews #sgfyp ##china #cpr

Similar situation. I was a Security Supervisor in Singapore. Woman falls outside my Guardroom from exhaustion. I help her into the room after asking her permission to hold her arm. Sat her in my chair and offered her water and called ambulance. Next day she and her husband went to Office and asked for CCTV footage to see if I did anything wrong to her. Now, I would rather stand and watch than help any woman..

That's not how it's supposed to be done. CPR is meant to be performed on the head.

Not technically related, but I remember an incident overseas when I was in the military. A female officer was shot in the upper inner leg, and the medic needed to remove her pants to examine and treat the wound but was too terrified to do so. She bled out and passed.

they are totally right, he should have took at least some minutes to figure out how to place his hands on her, without letting it look like he is touching her inappropriately. I mean she was just dying, so that should have been possible for him

Doctor here. He's doing it right, hands are clearly in the middle of the sternon, yeah, the palm over the main hand may be slipping a little due to the strenght and exhaustion. All that said, he's doing it right AND there was another doctor present.

as medical professionals i never do anything outside my designated place. if i saw someone colapse, i just move far away. society made me this way, i just embrace it.

If he let her die, the headline would still be "A man with CPR skills stood by and watched an innocent woman die when he could have helped"... 💔
