@abdulaesthetics: Some people talk about jail like it’s no big deal. Like it’s just another inconvenience. But I’ll never understand that mindset. I met a guy at a temp agency who got pulled over for driving without a license. The court gave him a choice: $500 fine or 30 days in jail. He chose jail… like it was nothing. Because he’s been there so many times, it didn’t even phase him. That broke my brain. To be so familiar with a *place designed to strip you of your freedom*… That you’d rather sit in a cell than pay a fine? I can’t relate. Jail is **not normal**. Jail is **not casual**. Jail is **not part of the grind**. It’s a tormenting experience that no one should be numb to. And if you are… that’s a whole different kind of pain. Freedom is priceless.
