I introduced one group of friends to another group of friends and they became a friend group without me. They all went to the beach and when I asked why I wasn’t invited, my “best friend” said “your voice really grates”, knowing I was insecure about my voice. I am nearly 40 now and I still get angry remembering it, it was so mean and they were my only friends

My freshman year roommate (also my cousin and best friends all my life) went to bed early when I was experiencing excruciating pain on the right side of my stomach and layed on the floor all night in a fetal position cuz I couldn’t sleep and no over the counter pain meds were working I didn’t want to wake here cuz I didn’t want to bother her despite feeling and thinking I was going to die the next morning she said “yeah I went to bed cuz I really didn’t want to take you to the hospital” she new how much pain I was in something I wish I would have died so she could live with the guilt but I know she wouldn’t feel at fault cuz she never has for anything she does but I also know she lives off people pitying her and any attention she gets. It ended up being nothing but I was scared alone and in great pain. Months later she had to get her appendix removed. I got in trouble for saying it was deserved. I know I shouldn’t have said or thought that. Because I shouldn’t ever wish that on anyone even those who wrong me but they wouldn’t even listen to why I thought that or anything I tried to say about how she hurt me. It put me in a really dark place because no would believe me or even listen to me or even believe me. Thank goodness I had some friends stick by my side who believed me and supported me otherwise I would not have made it through it.

when my friends were talking just out of earshot so I asked what's up and they all went quiet and said they couldn't tell me and my 'bsf' said "you're not the kind of person people trust anyways" and everyone agreed. I haven't been the same since idek what I did and I guess I never will.

Best friend stole my journal and had the boys graffiti in it as they made fun of my poems declaring my love for one of them saying we would become one. She never felt bad and caught her with it and talking about it on the phone with her friends. When my grandma gave me beer cooler mugs to sell, the kids on the next street, stole them and made fun of me. Got beat up by the guy who took my virginity and his little brother but my dad couldn’t kick them out of the apartment complex. It was so horrible.

In middle school I made a lame joke that no one thought was funny, so a guy nearby said “this is why you have no friends”. The people I was supposedly friends with were sitting right next to me and didn’t say anything and just laughed. I’m 27 and still think about it sometimes. I’m sorry that happened to you.

I remember moving to a new city in junior high and the first DAY after school someone tagged me in a vs thing on insta and it was me vs the most popular girl in school “like for her and comment for Mara” and people would go out of their way to comment and say “but it’s not for Mara bc she’s ugly and i hate her” and I barely knew anyone 😭😭😭

This happened to me in jr high and high school. My “friends” chose to be friends with him (they didn’t know him before me which makes it worse), then one of them claimed he SA’d her. They made my school life absolute hell but nobody deserves that. My favorite was senior night after awards the whole band went to steak and shake and not a soul invited me. It’s okay though it hurt so bad but it made me a lot stronger and taught me not to trust people just because they say they’re my friends.
