@erenanaomi: Reposting with a corrected image swapped out because it would bother me forever if I didn’t fix it! 😩 The first clip and the close ups of “Les Travaux de la Manufacture” were filmed at the exhibition Made in France - Une Histoire du Textile in December 2024. It has since closed, but there is an excellent catalogue. The remainder of the footage is from the Musee de la Toile de Jouy, at the Château de l'Églantine in Jouy-en-Josas, which I visited in May 2023. It’s a beautiful museum and worth a day trip if you are visiting Paris. They do a great job of telling the history of the textile printworks, and have rotating exhibitions of modern and contemporary artists as well. #TextileHistory #LearnOnTikTok
