My baby does this too she's 2 weeks but her Pediatrician said it could be related to reflux 😭 But my daughter spits up occasionally but if they tell you this then it eases my anxiety a bit knowing it's normal!! lol 😂

If you are laying him down like that then yes. You need to burp him

my 4 month old still struggles sit them upright for as long as possible, even if it means waking baby up. try to hold the head up or have them lean on to you upright, they don’t sleep as long sleeping with that discomfort

Definitely normal, you could always try burping him a couple minutes earlier if you need to. Otherwise just help that burp out ☺️

My pediatrician told me the congestion noises are their lungs developing still. My baby doesn’t burp but I still pat her to help w digestion! It keeps the hiccups away.

Burping half way through a feed is super helpful. It will come out, I promise! Just takes a little time.

I help this out by doing saline before the feed (and sucking out some of it) seems to help settle post burp, and urging the burp out, too!

i feel like this is normal. let your baby sit up in an upright position for a few minutes to let the milk settle a little and then try burping again. this is what i do when my baby struggles to burp and it works every time!
