The damage of drink/drugs took their toll on him way earlier than anyone acknowledges. This is 40 years ago, and even here he's stuttering and taking longer than usual to process his thoughts. It's extraordinary (and only due to money) he lived as long as he did.

You can tell this time period in Ozzy’s life he was pretty deep into the drinking & rugs by how swollen, pale, and flush his skin is. I know from experience. Sweat droplets on his face in 1982 could make a grown man overdose.
