@davechisholmcomics: What do you think about reference photos?? Writing “no reference” on a drawing post to me is one of the more toxic flexes in the world of social media art performance! Like…I GET IT, but it sends a really damaging message to all those people out there learning. Reference is ok. You’re ok. You are a badass for drawing. Use reference. Or don’t. I find that it speeds up my process and helps me see things better, for what it’s worth. It builds stability inside the drawings I make from my imagination. #drawing #arttok #comicart #illustration
