I need people here in the comments to understand why God Gale is such a bad ending for him. This man is traumatized, wants to 💀 because he believes he is worthless and everyone is better off without him. He sees himself as worthless if he isn't powerful, if he isn't a powerful wizard. Hi whole life his worth has been about how good of a wizard he is. To make him not go the route to become a God, you have to convince him that he is enough by himself. That he is worth enough as a person. Learning to understand his trauma and cope with it. So Gale becoming a God is the exact opposite of that. It's listening to his trauma. It's giving in to the voices saying he isn't good enough. It's giving up his humanity because he believes him as a human isn't worth anything.

I love making my Tav a son of Mephistopheles and helping Gale become a God its like a duo of power hungry dudes plus from Raphael’s POV not only did he get the crown taken from him by a Human but by his own sibling as well, makes ending him that much more satisfying

You know… we are supposed to think God Gale is not the best ending or a good ending for him. But as soon as it was revealed to be an option, I could not agree more that he would make a great god! And to find out he is a god of Ambition. That fits him so perfectly. There couldn’t be a better character for the role!
