See if you can get your own insurance instead of using your husband’s for the year. You might find something through the marketplace that is more cost effective

Lipedema doesn’t have its own CPT code which is why they often get shut down by insurance. There are Lipedema advocacy groups you could find or You could get lipedema surgery overseas all in with hotel + surgery for ~~ $10k. Still a lot but significantly less! Good luck!!🙏🙏

it's sucky too that u put so much effort into getting diagnosed. not to mention how much hurt you feel everyday because of this illness. like this is life changing surgery that they are denying because they are cheap. American health care sucks. I'm sorry girl I really hope it gets better(knowing America it won't)

Fly out of the country and get it done. It would be cheaper to purchase an international flight and pay for the surgery somewhere else
